Many of us know someone who suffers from chronic low back or hip pain. The regular course of care seems to be pain-relievers, muscle relaxants or worse surgery. Is low back or hip pain caused by being born with not enough medicine in the body? No. Medicine can temporarily cover the problem but often times does not fix the underlying cause. What is: Doing the dishes! The washer should not bend over the sink to reach the dishes. Dishes should be placed upon a top-of-sink dish rack, so bending is not required.
Flip-flops or any flat shoe with no cushioned-heel are easy to wear but can have adverse effects on our posture and spinal health. In these our feet are left to absorb the shock of walking which is transferred unnaturally up the body. Body weight shifts to the sides of feet, subluxating the pelvis.
